Golf Tournament Fundraiser to Benefit Cancer Patients on 9/29

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Sept. 15, 2017 - To help make a difference in the lives of cancer patients in need, Canyon Lakes Golf Course is hosting the 4th Annual Pink & Blue 4-Person Golf Scramble on Friday, September 29 at 1 p.m. to raise funds for local cancer patients. The event will be held at Canyon Lakes Golf Course, located at 3700 W. Canyon Lakes Drive Kennewick, WA 99337.

The 4th Annual Pink & Blue 4-Person Golf Scramble will feature golf contests and prizes for the winners. Professional athletes will also be in attendance, including former Seahawks players Alonzo Mitz (linebacker and defensive end) and Nesby Glasgow (safety). Super Bowl champion tight end Clint Didier (formerly with the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers) will also be attending.

“We are proud to host this year’s golf tournament to directly benefit cancer patients,” says tournament director Maria McDonald McNamar. “This event will be a great time, with funds going to a an even greater cause.”

The entry fee to participate in the 4th Annual Pink & Blue 4-Person Golf Scramble is $100 per player. Canyon Lakes season members can enter the tournament for $75. Entry fees include green fees, range balls, tee prizes and a special dinner. Entries must be received by September 27, 2017.

All funds raised will go directly to help cancer patients through the Northwest Cancer Center’s 21st Century C.A.R.E. foundation. 21st Century C.A.R.E. is a charitable foundation that helps to financially support cancer patients while undergoing treatment. The foundation provides financial assistance for cancer patients, and provides free screenings and educational materials.
